From UN submissions to university administration-commissioned reports, I have co-authored documents that merge investigative research with data analysis and interpretation. My work focused on providing problem-solving recommendations and coordinating groups, contributors, and subject-matter experts in project management.

I have uncovered undeclared SEC filings and other hard-to-obtain financial statements, managed sensitive and confidential harassment complaints by verifying allegations, and synthesized dense police protest responses into accessible graphs, visuals, and timelines.

  • Urgent Letter to UNHRC Mandate Holders: Repressive Methods Used on Protestors at U.S Universities

Led and arranged an urgent submission to 12 Special Procedures Mandate Holders and the UN Human Rights Council, coordinating with students across more than six major U.S. campuses. I facilitated the editing of each section and synthesized identifiable patterns of repression across campuses, providing substantiated evidence for each allegation and highlighting the systemic nature of the human rights violations.

The document required an exceptionally fast turnaround and was completed within a few weeks of major incidents during the Spring 2024 Pro-Palestine protests. In collaboration with legal experts and human rights organizations, a comprehensive legal framework was developed to document the violent suppression tactics employed by universities and law enforcement against students, in accordance with UNHRC guidelines.

  • Follow-Up Submission to UN Special Procedures Mandate Holders on UCLA's Violation of Students' Rights (June 2024-March 2025)

Co-ordinated with Amnesty International Geneva staff and UN special rapporteurs during moments of increased student activism and police brutality. I co-wrote an official follow-up complaint to the UN Human Rights Committee regarding Student Protests against the University of California with an emphasis on the UCLA campus.

  • Financial White Paper Analysis

Co-led the production of a 164-page investigative report analyzing the $188B University of California endowment fund, uncovering investments tied to corporations implicated in human rights violations and international law breaches. Directed a cross-campus research collective of 30+ graduate students and researchers, managing workstreams across financial analysis, historical context, corporate structure mapping, and data visualization.

Acquired and applied advanced investigative research methods: learned to read, interpret, and analyze LLC contracts, public and private equity holdings, SEC filings, FOIA disclosures, and corporate partnership records to map complex financial and institutional relationships. Briefed findings directly to the UC Chief Investment Officer and Regents, presenting evidence on human rights concerns and potential pathways for institutional reform.

  • UCLA Taskforce on Anti-Palestinian, Anti-Arab, & Anti-Muslim Racism Report (May 15 2024)

Served on a UCLA task force commissioned by UCLA’s Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, integrating archival research, policy analysis, legal review, and firsthand testimony into a comprehensive account of campus discrimination. Assisted the investigative process, establishing sourcing protocols, verifying incidents, conducting fact-checking, and conducting sensitivity reviews to ensure accurate handling of confidential materials.

Co-edited major sections of multiple reports, synthesizing campus climate data, protest responses, eyewitness accounts, and media documentation into accessible analyses supported by timelines and citations. Participated in policy recommendations focused on problem-solving reforms to protect academic freedom, address structural racism, and ensure student safety.

Coordinated the publication and dissemination, resulting in citations by major outlets including the New York TimesWashington PostLos Angeles Times, and The Guardian. Findings were briefed directly to the UCLA administration.
